In this new monthly retrospective series we will showcase an iconic film from one of Hollywood’s most versatile and legendary writer/director’s, Billy Wilder.  A master of both comedy and suspense, Wilder skillfully examined some of the most controversial and hypocritical elements of American culture in both his comedies and film noirs. With a career that spanned more than 50 years, Wilder played a pivotal role in the evolution of cinema. 

This six-film mini-series, scheduled from March to August, offers an opportunity to experience Wilder’s groundbreaking works on the big screen! The series continues in July with SOME LIKE IT HOT! Tickets are available now at hiwaytheater.org/specials

????? ??? ?????:  Billy Wilder’s comedy classic stars Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis as a pair of musicians who witness a mob massacre and then escape dressed as women in an all-women’s band. Things really heat up with the arrival of Marilyn Monroe, the band’s curvy, ukulele-playing singer!
